Our Story

Renee Sutton, the founder of Ability Hub, started the organisation from a very personal place.
Renee’s passion for supporting people with disability comes from her own family’s experience. Her son was diagnosed at a young age with ASD, ADHD, ODD, and Global Development Delay.

“People saw my son as different. He wasn’t invited to parties and was often left out of social events. Watching him struggle — emotionally, physically, and mentally — was heartbreaking. As his mum and biggest advocate, I knew something had to change. I wanted to create a space where people with disability felt accepted, supported, and empowered. I wanted to break the stigma.”

That vision became Ability Hub — a place where every person is valued, included, and supported to live life their way.
